Delta electrode/voltorb

um … hi
this is actually my first spriting try so its probably bad, but tell me if you like the concept

Electrode

One of the deltas that actually functions as intended, electrode is a water/psychic type created to clean the mess created by poison types such as grimer.

Voltorb

This pokemon leaves a trail of soapy water wherever it goes and uses its psychic abilities to store water in it’s bubbles for use during dry periods.

I’m no expert on sprites, but I think it could be cleaner and more detailed, particularly around the eyes and mouth. The bubbles around the base also look more like slime than water with the way they are built up on Voltorb, makes me think water/poison. Might need more detail for the psychic typing than just pink colored mouth and eyes.

Still pretty good for a first try though :slight_smile:

Also not a spriter or anything, but I like the concept. I don’t really see the psychic type, it looks more like pure water to me. Also, I think it needs some more work with the eyes, like Gustkraken said, and I think it might be a good idea to recolor the bottom half of Electrode so that it’s all the same color and looks more like a bubble. Otherwise, I think you did a good job!

Make the base body more of a bubble/water like than being a ball to match its concept. For the Psychic feel, try to make an aura.

i like the water type idea, pretty neat n.n

however i see this more of a water/electric or water/ghost or water/dark or just pure water for electrode.

great job for first try though :blush:

EDIT: I seemed to notice you labeled Delta Electrode as Voltorb and Delta Voltorb as Electrode

Heyy everyone, I kinda didn’t get around to spriting it because of lots of exams. And i start uni tomorrow so maybe i wont get around to it soon. Meanwhile, if anyone wants to make their own sprite, feel free :stuck_out_tongue: Take care and have fun everyone :3

For more of a psychic type feel, I would let the bubbles float and put a purple/pink aura around it. For the rest, great job on your first sprite m8!!
