Default name

This is kind of a random question, but I'm just wondering.

I finished my first play-through of the game, so I decided to start a new one with a randomizer challenge. I started it without putting in a name and the default name that it gave me was "Lasern."

Does this name have any significance, like to the game's storyline or to some of the people who helped put the game together, or is this just completely random? Does it mean anything?

(The only thing I could find was that it means laser in German, which doesn't make much sense)

It picks the name of your computer owner by default

Oh, ok. This was my Dad’s computer, so I don’t know why it came up with that.

It uses the owner name you input on installing Windows, so if you are using the Windows that came with it on purchase it might be something your computer manufacturer has put in.
