So how would one replace soundtracks wth one of their choice in this version?

  1. make a backup of the Audio/BGM folder so you can restore it if you manage to break something
  2. find the track you want to replace in the Audio/BGM folder
  3. convert the track you want to have in game to a .ogg file
  4. give the .ogg file of your track the same name as the track you want replaced and overwrite the old track by putting the renamed file into the BGM folder.

notes to 3.:

  • there are some .wav files in the audio folder that seem to work as well for me, but lunardusk said that in general .ogg is king.
  • you can convert pretty much any tracks to .ogg with Audacity. Open your music file in Audacity, then click export and select ogg as format.

I neber said .wav wouldnt work. I said the file size dramatically increases.
