I’m doing the same thing too! I will start in April possibly, cause im very busy with school. Are you ok going blind? because this game is one of the hardest to nuzlocke, so you have to do some form of research. In terms of starter preference, go with Delta Charmander because it is very good against the first two gyms, which are really hard, including a few battles that use legendary pokemon. Good luck to the both of us!
A few more tips, make sure that as you progress, level up other mons that is not in your party, and build up different teams instead of using only the pokemon in your party.
