What is the best way to make money in the early game?

One way I know of is to catch a bunch of Ground types (Specifically Phanpy which you can find in Midna mine, although really any Ground type of work. I just like Phanpy for Pickup) & then open up your Dexnav & click on the Pokeball on the right.
Then go down the list of trainers until you find the one named Elder Clint Eastwood (You should be able to get to him easily by just pressing W twice)
He only has a Electrode, It’s level 40 but It only has electric attacks & explosion, & it can only use 1 move per battle!
So just use your ground types & He won’t be able to do anything, & You’ll get a free 2400 per fight!!!

Also, after upgrading your sponsor, playing the races at the Sonata Tracks can give you more, just remember to play on the Ice track as the AI will get stuck.
