Battle Frontier item recovery?

Greetings,

As I was playing through the Battle Frontier, at some point a bug had erased all my Pokemon’s held items.I’m not exactly sure when or how, but everything was replaceable anyway except for my Delta Galladite. I tried reloading my backup saves but they had unfortunately all taken place after the bug had occurred. I even rechecked the Whirl Islands for another Delta Galladite, to no avail.

Is there any possible way I can recover the mega stone, or is it lost for good?

If you saved less than 3 times, use this:

Saved in the middle of a cutscene now my game is frozen! HELP!

Load a backup save, the default save file of the first save slot is Game.rxdata and backup saves are named something along the lines of Save_0_Backup_1.rxdata. Simply move away your current save file, rename the backup of your choice to Game.rxdata and keep playing. The backups update every time you save.

If you did, you’ll have to trade for another.
