If I get rid of the normal sprite in the files does it use the shiny sprite or am I being dumb?
no, i think the game will just crash. haven’t tested it out (for obvious reasons), but that seems like too big of an oversight to just leave in
Yeah thought the same, I’m just getting annoyed of trying after about a week so far.
no but you can make a normal pokemon have a shiny sprite by deleting the normal sprites and replacing them with the shiny ones
But they won’t have the star, and if they don’t have the star they aren’t shiny
