Hey there, been a while since I’ve played the game as I’m waiting for the update, but from what I can recall I do have a couple of suggestions - I knew I had lots whilst I was playing but I’ve forgotten most of them! Hopefully they’ll come to me.
The first one I’ll copy and paste from a paste I made on the subreddit, just in case it wasn’t read there:
“What plans are there in terms of rebattling trainers for experience? When training a new team, I always struggle in Pokémon games to find trainers to battle who have Pokémon at an appropriate level. The Memory Chamber is a great idea, but I must admit I don’t really see the point in it when all the Pokémon are the same level. The best solution to me is to make gym leaders rebattleable at their original levels, so that there are challenging milestone battles that give the player a feeling of progress when training up a new team. It’s a lot more rewarding and entertaining than just fighting Audinos in the Secret Base.”
An alternative idea is just to have many trainers rebattleable throughout the game at their original levels. There must be hard ones, at least almost as powerful as gym leaders, so that developing teams can experience a sense of progress.
Second idea is a way to pick up multiple Pokémon in the box so that they can be moved around in bulk, like in the main handheld games. Especially with the lag between full boxes it can be quite a chore moving Pokémon around at present!
Third idea is a bit trivial but perhaps a way to decide where in the Secret Base your flag can be found by others? Just so you can have a bit of fun hiding it.
Fourth suggestion is a bugfix. In the Secret Base there seem to be quite a few glitches involving item placement that may need addressing. To list a few: items not remembering they’ve been placed after you leave, items not remembering which way around they were put down (often face the screen after you leave even if you didn’t put them that way) and also items not remembering they’ve been deleted. Sometimes you’ll delete an item but are unable to put something in its place, as well.
That’s all I can think of off the top of my head, I’ll update this post if any more come to me!
Keep up the good work guys, still the best Pokémon fan-game/hack I have ever played!
