3 teams for the E4... Help me decide

Hi! I finaly made it through the Victory Road and I am ready to start my first attempt on the E4. My friend already spoiled me the end and some eE4 maches, so Ikinda know what I will be facing. The problem is, I am not shure if my starter will be a good Mega Evolution here. I brainstormed two different teams, cen you help me descide? I play in Challengeless Normal mode, Dark Story (don’t know if the story changes the battle). I hate using Items during the battle, so I will probably start whit a disadventage.

TEAM 1 (My current, the one I am less likely to take)

Charizard-Delta @ Delta-Charizardite

Mew @ Twisted Spoon
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 6 Hp /252 SpA / 224 Spe
IVs: 29 Hp / 4 Atk / 15 Def / 30 Spa / 19 SpD / 30 Spe
Naughty Nature (Bad reset)
-Defog
-Psychic
-Aura Sphere
-Calm Mind / Shadow Ball

This is the team I used so far. I might catch the Delta Ditto just to fix my Gardevoir, but that’s about it. I Gess I will have trouble because I don’t have Ground Type attack, whitch is bad against Delta Volcarona. At least, I have a Shadow Seeeping Core to revenge Kill Shadow Mewtwoo. I LOVE Delta Haxorus, he saved me from tons of bad situation, including Nyx and Adams. He will always remain in hy heart. I can aslo try to beat it whit this team and change my team afterwards.

TEAM 2 (First brainstorm)

Gardevoir-Delta @ Delta-Gardevoirdite
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 4 Hp / 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Docile Nature
-Calm Mind
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Eath Power / Coverage Move

Tyranitar @ Tyranitar Armor
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 100 HP / 252 Atk / 156 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Stone Edge
-Crunch
-Superpower
-Stealth Rock

Excadrill @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
-Earthquake
-Iron Head
-Rock Slide / X-Scissor
-Swords Dance / Rapid Spin

Charizard-Delta @ Choice Scarf / Specs
Ability: Spirit Call
EVs: 3 Hp / 255 SpA / 252 Spe
IVs: 27 Hp / 19 Atk / 31 Def / 22 SpA / 11 SpD / 14 Spe
Modest Nature
-Shadow Sneak (will be changed)
-Shadow Ball
-Dragon Pulse
-Sludge Bomb

Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 6 Hp /252 SpA / 224 Spe
IVs: 29 Hp / 4 Atk / 15 Def / 30 Spa / 19 SpD / 30 Spe
Naughty Nature (Bad reset)
-Defog / Livewire
-Psychic
-Aura Sphere
-Calm Mind / Shadow Ball / Agility

Gyarados @ Lum Berry
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
-Dragon Dance
-Waterfall
-Ice Fang
-Earthquake

Based around Mega Delta Gardevoir, I was thinking “What team would I buiild to go against another player?” I haven’t breed my Gardevoir, Tyranitar, Gyarados nor Excadrill yet, but I am willing to. Gyarados fits for the role compression, as he resist both Ground and wather type. I might also pick Delta Bisharb or Rotom-M. Another fliying or Levitate user could probably be enough

TEAM 3 (Second Brainstorm)

Team 3 is basically Team 2, but a regular Mega Gardevoir because I love it (Fourth favorite Pokémon, Equal to Mega Gallade) instead of the Delta Gardevoir and another Pokémon instead of Mew, pobablly Gengar. But then, I will not have speed control.

I also take other suggestions, like base my team more around my Delta Charizard.

What do you suggest me?

Pretty solid teams. A few things to mention though.

D. Volcarona has levitate, so unless you have a mon with mold breaker ground type moves aren’t hitting it.

Livewire has been changed substantially. It now has only a 20% chance to paralyze per stack and stacks up to 5 times, However the rate doubles in the rain. I can’t really recommend it outside of rain teams.

D. Hax should have Hone Claws instead of Swords Dance on the current team. It’s effect is doubled in the darkness, which at the very least gets rid of that 10% chance to miss on Aqua Tail. D. Hax isn’t really that heavy at 232 lbs. either. The target has to be 25% or less of it’s weight for heavy slam to out damage iron head. At 58 lbs. that doesn’t leave you with a whole lot of targets: https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/List_of_Pokémon_by_weight

Pokemon caught in the friend safari have a 20% chance of having their hidden ability. So Contrary Serperior, Moxie Gyrados and Mold Breaker Excadrill are all options.

Thanks for the advices, bt what team do you suggest me? Team 1, 2 or 3?

After few reflexion, I think I will take my team 3. I would looks like this:

Gardevoir @ Gardevoirite
Ability: Trace
EVs: 16 HP / 8 Def / 232 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
-Hyper Voice
-Psyshock
-Focus Blast
-Taunt

Tyranitar @ Tyranitar Armor
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 100 HP / 252 Atk / 156 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Stone Edge
-Crunch
-Superpower
-Stealth Rock

Excadrill @ Life Orb
Ability: Sand Rush
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
-Earthquake
-Iron Head
-X-Scissor
-Rapid Spin

Charizard-Delta @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Spirit Call
EVs: 3 Hp / 255 SpA / 252 Spe
IVs: 27 Hp / 19 Atk / 31 Def / 22 SpA / 11 SpD / 14 Spe
Modest Nature
-Shadow Sneak (will be changed)
-Shadow Ball
-Dragon Pulse
-Sludge Bomb

Rotom-Heat @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
-Volt Switch
-Overheat
-Thunderbolt
-Hidden Power Ice

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
-Swords Dance
-Bullet Punch
-Bug Bite
-Superpower

Taunt Gardevoir will be very usefull against London and his Trick Room. I also like the fact that Reukia have 4 Pokemon weak to fairy type. Even if tecnically, Shadow Mewtwo will OHKO me.
Tyranitar will help against Yuki and chips damage are always cool to nulify Leftovers.
X-Scissor on Excadrill is my main way of revenge killing Shadow Mewtwo. I guess I could give him Mold breaker, but leaving Sand Rush whit a Tyranitar is maybe too mutch. I also consider giving him Leftovers.
I guess I can switch to a rotom-wash instead of a rotom-heat. Viable alternative.
Scizor is here for priority, whit is always nice. I didn’t had an idea, tell me what you think. I was thinking about a wather type to have an advantage over Eduard. If I switch my Rotom-H to Rotom-W, I might consider this Volcarona:

Volcarona @ Lum Berry
Ability: Flame Body
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
-Quiver Dance
-Fire Blast
-Giga Drain
-Bug Buzz

Does this sounds good?

I think that starters are pretty weak without mega
Otherwise sounds good

Should I pick SD+Priority Delta Haxorus instead of Scizor? He just seems to have a wrost defensive type synergy whit my team by hadding one more Ground Weakness, but he also hadd the wather type offensive synergy. I hate to share 3 times he same weakness in a Pokémon team, but he will be very usefull against Edward whit his wather/steel type. Effectively getting rid of his Hippowdon, Tyranitar and Excadrill (if aqua jet). Scizor on the other hand, have a stronger Technitian Boosted Bullet Punch.

I will also change the EV spread of my Scizor if I keep it. He seems too slow to have a 252 speed investment, but I still want to outspeed some speed invested slow Pokémon. 132 HP / 252 Atk / 128 Spe to outspeed 156 Spe Choice Band Tyranitar.

Scizor is good, it keeps advantage against ice type girl and priority in trick room.
About dragon type… it s not very useful unless with very high speed and huge offense.
For Reukra, they can help you, but you need to outpace kyurem and flygon

I was talking about DELTA Haxorus, the Water/Ice one. He as Aqua Jet or or Bullet Punch and Swords Dance, so I was wondering if water type coverage would be better.

I already have my Choice Scarf Delta Charizard as the dragon type. He is strong enough to OHKO Kyurem and Mega Flygon (I think) and he outspeed them.

Its right…i didnt remember it has bullet punch in its movepool.
However, if you choose him as leader, keep it mind that hippowdon can probably tank 2 aqua jet and it will not let you set up with whirlwind. Aqua tail as last moove will counter this i think.

Synergy–wise, which of them would suit my team best:

Scizor @ Life Orb
Ability: Technician
EVs: 132 HP / 252 Atk / 128
Adamant Nature
-Swords Dance
-Bullet Punch
-Bug Bite
-Superpower

or

Haxorus-Delta @ Sea Incense
Ability: Water Veil
EVs: 4 Hp / 255 Atk / 252 Spe
IVs: 11 Hp / 23 Atk / 25 Def / 9 SpA / 16 SpD / 26 Spe
Jolly Nature
-Swords Dance
-Bullet Punch / Heavy Slam (or any reliable steel STAB)
-Aqua Tail
-Aqua Jet

How does my team need improvement? For Elite 4.
Typhlosion Blaze 88 with Wild Charge, Blast Burn, Eruption and Solar Beam.
Tyranitar Sand Stream 78 with Stone Edge, Earthquake, Hyper Beam and Fire Blast.
Serperior Overgrow 83 with Leaf Storm, Dragon Pulse, Frenzy Plant and Solar Beam.
Metagross Clear Body 88 with Psychic, Meteor Mash, Hammer Arm and Hyper Beam.
Feraligatr Torrent 100 with Superpower, Hydro Cannon, Hydro Pump and Thrash.
Garchomp Sand Veil 100 with Crunch, Dig, Fire Blast and Dragon Rush.

Huge necro there. That’s my very first post here.
