Zarude used the same strat as me, Mimikyu disguise, then Mega evo, and probably his Reuniclus too. My Rilla doesn’t mega evo immediately either, I use it to set Grassy Terrain and spam momentum until it has a good chance to mega evo.
I have told you, I didn’t do that because I chose not to. I like the Pokémon that I chose better.
