I just wanted to taka a language. I had no interest in French, and Spanish was traumatic. At least with Latin I can read myths.

OK, I could write a thousand word essay in this chat about why Latin is important and should be studied. If you don’t want me to do that, stop bashing Latin. And even if it’s dead, it’s a gateway to pretty much most European languages, as most of them developed out of it.
