Earlier, my save file was corrupted, and I lost it. Then, I started a new one, and made it to the abyssal cult fight.
I then got off for a bit and got back on, and it gave me the “unexpected marshal format” thing. I loaded a backup, re-extracted the zip, and tried reloading it a few times- nothing worked. Help would be appreciated.
you’ve tried all your backups?
if so, i think that’s kinda it for this save. Just make sure to keep copies of are your backups next time :))
If your first backup doesn’t work, try to load all three of your backups as stated here. If that doesn’t work, you can also try the different steps as outlined here in the post by Deukhoofd.
As a good rule of thumb, it’s helpful to keep external backups of your save once in a while in case something ever happens.
