I have been trying to download on mac but whenever I try, it always comes up with this error message
Installing Winetricks

Error: No similarly named formulae found.
Error: No available formula or cask with the name “winetricks”.
==> Searching for a previously deleted formula (in the last month)…
Error: No previously deleted formula found.
==> Searching taps on GitHub…
Error: No formulae found in taps.
Any help would be appreciated

I have the same issue, did you end up finding a way to fix it?
rm -rf "$(brew --repo homebrew/core)"
then
brew tap homebrew/core
