I remember when I used to play this game about 2 years back, the developers were still saying that it was going to finish soon, they even went as far to say that it would be completed in the Summer of 2016. Welp. looks like it took a little longer than that didn’t it.
That’s why they stopped giving an estimated release date, so they wouldn’t get anybody’s hopes down if they don’t release the update near their date. The devs aren’t sure if it will release soon themselves, but DemonKnight did say this in the insurgence discord:
