Hello, i just started the game a few days ago and I’m very stuck in the Abyssal Base!
I received the Abyssal Cultist hair from Damien, except its not showing in the flute menu.
I’ve looked up what to do, and someone suggested downgrading to 1.1.6, but I have no idea how to go about that either, I downloaded 1.1.7 fresh.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Take it from someone who tried everything on a nuzlocke, there’s no way in. There’s a bug in the 1.1.7 patch that makes it so that when you receive the abyssal cultist DNA from Damian, you don’t actually get it. It just say that you do. There’s virtually no way to do it using updates only. Unless they found a way to import the abyssal cultist DNA to your file, which I doubt they have. Otherwise, you could try asking Suze, or a dev to help you, but when I asked, I didn’t get any help.
My best advice would be to delete your game and start a new one on patch 1.1.6, and just try to do things as similarly as possible. If you need help moving items and shinies, I would suggest going on the discord and asking. I’m really sorry that this happened to you, and I kinda wish the patch notes made this bug more apparent, because I’ve seen this happen to a number of people. Best of luck with the devs.
