I have recently gotten back into Pokémon Insurgence and had a couple questions I was hoping to have answered:

  1. Is it possible to play Insurgence with a GameCube Controller using a USB-GC adapter (specifically the 4-Player one often used for Super Smash Bros)?

  2. Is it possible to trade between 1.2.3 and the 1.2.4 beta?

  3. If the answer to 2 is no, is there any harm in switching to 1.2.4 to grab Kyurem then switching back to 1.2.3 for Delta Ditto breeding?

  1. I don’t know, I don’t have experience in that area, sorry.
  2. No, must be on the same version.
  3. Yes, you can downgrade back to 1.2.3 after getting Kyurem in 1.2.4. No harm in doing so.

  1. Using external software it might be possible, I’m not familiar with the adapter between Gamecube and USB, but if it converts to XInput or DirectInput input, using software like Joy2Key should work.

  2. 1.2.3 and 1.2.4 should be compatible, but the 1.2.5 update currently in development will not be able to trade with older versions.

  3. There shouldn’t be any issues in doing that.

Oh huh, thought it was incompatible for 1.2.3 and 1.2.4. My bad then.
