PWT Set up for Success! (So far)

I stand upon the shoulders of giants- credits to crimsoncrim, A_Wild_Noob_Appeared, and a WeedleTwinneedle video showcasing the basics of the strat.
Crush the World Tournament with this setup.

  1. Entrainment to give the opponent Truant.
  2. Send out Smeargle to set up Stealth Rock and boost up to infinity and beyond. Alternate setup and Protect to stay untouched.
  3. When they’re loafing, Baton Pass into Latias. Destroy.

Lum Berries can be placed on Smeargle and Latias if you want some insurance against status hazards/ abilities. I chose Latiasite in case anything needed the boost to be killed.

Edit: Don’t set up too long on Pokemon with a Choice item, as they will quickly run out of PP and swap out.

Latias @ Latiasite (Anyone who can use Stored Power. She’s pretty close to the best you can get for this strat.)
Ability: Levitate (Edit: Spikes/ Toxic Spikes immunity)
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4 Def
Nature: Timid (Also not too important)
Moves:
Stored Power
Surf
Thunderbolt
Dragon Pulse

You might want to give Latías some coverage against dark types because stored power won’t work on them

Yeah, the rest of the moves are just to hit any type. The SpA boost should help those moves one shot as well.

Latios would be better here as it’s the offensive twin. Oops necro.
