OSX Native App

Hey there,

I’ve been at arms length with PI for a while, following development but not playing too much. The only reason really is because the current solution for Mac users is kind of hack-y and doesn’t like to update (in my experience). I’d love a native app for Mac, and I’m willing to help!

Is this at all planned? Is it even possible? If it’s possible, do you guys need help? I’ve got no experience developing for OSX, but I’d gladly learn to get this great game natively on my computer.

RPGMaker XP, he engine that Insurgence is made in is unfortunately Windows only, which is why the WINE solution is the only way for the game to work.

Darn… Alrighty, thanks for the explanation! I’ll just have to man up with Wine, or bootcamp.

and honestly, wineskin IS a good solution. After a bit of learning it is a super easy way to play insurgence on mac, and is almost as easy to update as windows. It just takes spending an hour or so to learn how to use wineskin.
