I thought about a held item that add or replace the second type of the pokémon by the same type as its hidden power. Do you think it is a good idea ?
That would break the metagame so hard.
That’s why that would be fun
this resembles Mix and Mega a little bit. It’s a lot of fun, and I would love it if they added it to the simulator
Yeah, a mode on the simulator would be fun, but it would completely rewrite the metagame, largely due to that you have no idea what type your opponent is.
On showdown it is specifically its own mode. One of their OMs (other metagames). Its not as hard to predict as you think, since most people use one of the same 5-7 megastones on everything. I would imagine this would be similar. For example, Dragonite would probably only have 3-4 practical sets, preferably steel/dragon for examples
Maybe just we could add some restrictions : only one per team, and/or display the type added for exemple.
nah. the point of this kind of game is totally wild, unrestrained chaos. try playing on showdown. youll get destroyed a couple times, but once you get the hang of it its awesome. You dont know annoying until pidgeotite gengar (no-guard)
This seems pretty broken for some Pokemon. Bug/Steel Shedinja, Water/Steel Slowbro, Fairy/Steel Clefable, etc.
I’ve had an idea for an item that lets you hold two items but cuts your speed in half or quarters it depending on balancing issues.
That’s completely broken. Eviolite/Eviolite Chansey, Choice Specs/Choice Specs Dragalge, bulky Megas with Leftovers, Leftovers/Leftovers or Rocky Helmet/Leftovers Ferrothorn would destroy everything. They are so slow that the speed drop doesn’t even matter.
Imagine that for breeding.
yeah. power misc + destiny knot+everstone. cool
