It only shows “seen”. When you had a pokemon, it’s info will keep showing “caught” even if you lose it, so sorry, I don’t exactly believe you.

Only a handful know and yeah, they’re not allowed for now.

I think it´s more than a handful. When I completed the Pokedex due to a bug, it told me that 33 other people had already completed it.

I won´t tell, because I can´t guarantee that it won´t corrupt your safe file. Plus they removed it as far as I know.
