As far as I know this is a known bug. the only way to recover trades like this is for both of you to load a backup from before the trade and retry, but yes they are prone to doing that
If you want the abitity back, you can get it with a ability capsule which you can get in helios city
You’d need a dream mist, ability capsules only change it to the primary ability, not the hidden ability.
