Whenever I start the game, it opens the game, puts it at the large screen, and the screen stays black. It doesn’t crash, it doesn’t load, it just stays with a black screen and stays unresponsive forever, until I close it with Task Manager. I’ve deleted the entire game and data off of my PC, and completely redownloaded it, and I’m pretty sure I even lost my save data (which I had worked days on and was at very high levels), yet it still does the same thing. Why doesn’t the game load, and how do I fix it?
Maybe you have too much storage already? Or if this is your first time, your computer won’t be able to support it.
I played the entire game and even got to the point of catching Thundurus, but then after relaunching it to try to stream it to twitch, the screen turned black and went unresponsive. The PC can handle it, and there’s enough storage. I have about 100 GB remaining on my PC.
I’m pretty sure you have your data still so don’t worry about that. I suggest you download the core zip file if your down loading the core launcher one.
I deleted the entire folder from the My Games folder in the Users folder, and I’m pretty sure that had the save files.
It’s the one in the saved games file. BTW how did you download it? Launcher or zip file?
I downloaded the Core file and the Launcher, but got the Launcher first and did the red “DOWNLOAD” button on it. Then I tried downloading the core one and that didn’t work either.
Okay so at first I thought I deleted my Saved Games part that had Insurgence, but I just found out I didn’t and placed my save on the desktop. Should I completely wipe the game from my pc again, erasing all the data, and redownload the core or the launcher? OR should I follow different instructions?
Just got an error message when opening the launcher. The message is on this link I believe. http://pastebin.com/AisBwuBa
Don’t delete your save data, just try the zip file again. If it doesn’t work then idk.
Okay I forgot to mention this a while ago but I fixed it by turning my PC off and on.
Glad you got it fixed.
