I started playing the game in 1.1.7 and everywhere I read people said that the 1.1.8 update would be the final content update, and that all legendaries would be catchable in story mode (outside randomizer). I cant find any information on these things in the patch notes, and the changelog on the wiki has not been updated. Just want to know if I can “complete” the game before I start over again.
The 1.2 update will be that, and it’s still upcoming.
You shouldn’t have to start anything over though; your current save should be able to carry on through.

If you want more info on the game’s progress, I’d suggest checking the suzerain’s twitter, he seems to give info often. (At least once a day from what I’ve seen)

How many badges are in game now? Its not mentioned on Download or Main site page, I might be reviving this thread but hopefully people in this thread can answer the question if they are almost done with current content storywise. Thanks

I restarted the game once , and just before you choose to do a challenge run , it mentioned there are 6 badges. In my playthrough and AFAIK, one of the NPC in Korril Town said this game did not have 8 badges, so for the next update, all megas /legendaries will be catchable and the elite four battle challenge will be added, Thats what we can expect content wise right?
