I do chores quite frequently. As I write this comment, I’m being scolded for not doing my chores.

One of my relative have cerebral paralysis, I would be a total jerk if I didn’t do my part of the job. I get free food, water, sometimes lifts, Internet and a shelter. Don’t tell I shouldn’t at least wash the dishes and change the cats litter.
