It’s fairly reliable for attack EV training. The ones in the current EV training guide have some. Gabite (2 ATK ev), Rhydon (2 ATK EV), and sandshrew (1 DEF EV).
No having to deal with sturdy.
Unfortunately there are superior bases, Granstafer has three mons all of which give 2 attack eVs and klangdude has three mons all of which give 2 def eVs.
Doesn’t sawk make it less efficient because of sturdy?
I’d rather do two attacks for one in three pokemon found than run away from one in three pokemon found.
