Game won't launch, script error Line115

I had just made it to the town with the PokePon machine and the races that I can’t remember the name of, and now every time I attempt to launch the game it gives me the following error:

[TypeError, incompatible mardhal file format (Can’t be read) /n/tformat version 4.8 required; 0.0 given. [Section058:2133:in ‘oldload’, Section058:2133:in ‘Load’, Section142:75:in ‘pbSetUpSystem’ and it repeats that last line a few times.

Then it comes up with something similar, but this time saying End of File reached, which proceeds to come up around 4 more times. Then, an error from the game says:

Script ‘PokemonSystem’ line 115: NoMethodError occured. Undefined method ‘screensize’ for “”:String.

I looked at the old reddit, and found that my save file was corrupted and I needed to swap one of the backup save files with the game save file. So I did that. I tried all 3 backup saves, and none worked. Can anyone help me out?

Hi, I’ve got the same error yesterday the only thing you have to do is: 1-Go to your save folder which is in Windows: C:\Users(your name)\Saved Games\Pokemon Insurgence

Mac: Right-click the app, Show Package Contents, drive_c, Program Files, Pokemon Insurgence

2- there are files that are named Save_0_Backup rename them Game and you’re done!

Then unfortunately your saves are all corrupted, not much else that can be done about it.
