does the destiny knot work for breeding?, I don´t want to waste my IV Stones on a Ditto if it doesn´t
It does, yeah. It will let the baby Pokemon inherit 5 IVs from its parents.

It does work, just not completely perfectly - sometimes it will inherit the same IV twice instead of inheriting five different ones. It’s still a lot better than not using it.
