Can moves have 2 types?

Hey guys! So I know normally, moves can’t have 2 types. But Sandstorm Form Castform (which is Insurgence exclusive) is a Ground and Rock type. What would happen if he used Weather Ball? What type would it be? Would it be one of them, would it be randomized or would it be both of them?

Actually , there is a move that has two types, flying press or whatever it is called lol (the signature move of hawlucha) @AaronTheGladiator

Thanks, and yeah, @GiaPeNiw Hawlucha’s Flying Press is Fighting and Flying.

actually technically it’s only fighting so hawlucha doesn’t get double stab on it and flying types won’t get stab

Uh, he doesn’t get double STAB, it’s his signature move and it is Flying as well. Like Hawlucha’s Flying Press does 1x damage to bug types since Fighting cancels out Flying’s 2x.

Thats what I was saying, if it was dual typed, he would get a 1.75x STAB multiplier instead of 1.5x.

Supposedly if you used flying press on a pokemon who was 4x weak to both flying and fighting it would do 16x damage right?

yes, tho that is impossible withthe current types. unless you use something like shadow+radioactive.
