A good team

Hey guys I was looking for a good team for Pok Insurgence
I have a Charizard lvl 53 ,Swampert
Iam planning on catching an eevee and gardevoir and salamence and a metagross
is this a good team let me know

you seem like you’re going to mega them.

NO 1 rule: never have more than one mega

iirc salamance isnt that good as non mega
depends on which metagross(spider is for hazzard, ruin is for all out damage, and regular is better off as a mega)
swampert is a good mega with a rain team
charizard in a weather(depends on delta or not) since i assume it is delta, bring d roserade and form a nice partnership
i really dont like eevee all that much, its decent but as non-mega, its better off in your box
Gardevior is good as a mega(idk if its a delta or not)

Salamance is very good wdym. It just gets overshadowed by its mega cause it’s very stronk

none of them is delta

It was active when I chose the starter
I don’t have it active anymore
my first try so I am doing it normal

I have beaten the first gym and am on route 4
i trained charizard like hell

If you’re not on Purity mode, I’d recommend Excadrill, Gyarados, D. Scyther/D. Gardevoir, D. Snorlax, Mega Zard Y, and Gengar, probably.

Competetively, Excadrill is so much better than Garchomp. Garchomp really only wins in terms of design.

Every time I use Garchomp it dies in the first round. It’s always a crit or an Ice move. So forgive me if I think Garchomp is horrible competetively. Then again I am thinking SwSh, so Megas could make it a lot better.

Mega Garchomp is wierd in Insurgence. It gets a very nice buff with Draco Jet, but it only means its matchup against Fairy is harder. It is arguably better as a mixed attacker in Sand teams, but it is motsly overshadowed by its regular form. The difference betwen 92 and 102 base speed is HUGE! A lot of “fast” Pokémon are 100 base speed, like Zapdos, Mega Gardevoir and Mega Kangaskan. All those Pokémon can does a lot of damage with the proper move to Mega Garchomp.

So, I’d actually use Garchomp outside of the E4, and Excadrill inside E4.
